This year, the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation organized the Asian Artists Exchange Program, and we are honored to have invited three distinguished talents from different countries and professional backgrounds to Taiwan for this exchange. In this special issue, we are delighted to present their observations and insights gathered during their time in Taiwan.As part of the program, we also held the Multilateral Bridging Workshop, which brought together 12 leaders from Asia’s arts and cultural sectors to discuss how Taiwan fosters international cooperation through artistic exchanges.
The 2024 Asian Artists Exchange Program: Multilateral Bridging Workshop, themed "Building Taiwan’s Cultural Connections through Global Art Exchange," focused on the role of civilian organizations as platforms for promoting sustainable transnational exchanges. Discussions examined how these platforms can effectively foster global collaboration and assessed the tangible impact of international cultural exchanges in terms of influence and sustainability.
