Migrant Workers in Taiwan and Japan: Patterns, Issues, and PoliciesThe Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation is honored to announce the publication of the report "Migrant Workers in Taiwan and Japan: Patterns, Issues, and Policies," in collaboration with our long-term partner, the Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO).This report features papers from five scholars from the UK, Japan, and Taiwan, examining various patterns of migrant worker inflow and outflow in East and Southeast Asia. It also compares the migrant worker policies of Taiwan and two Northeast Asian countries. Additionally, the report includes two presentations by the UK's Work Better Innovations, offering reflections and feedback on Taiwan's recent migrant worker policies.
